On March 16th at approximately 3:16 PM, Vallejo Police Department officers responded to a report of a person shot on the 2000 block of Solano Ave. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Medical personnel arrived and the male was pronounced deceased. The Vallejo Police Department Detective Division responded to take over the investigation. The motive and circumstances surrounding this shooting are under investigation. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending next of kin notification by the Solano County Coroner’s Office.
